Use this reported workaround only when the crash evidence identifies the Realtek wireless path, including rtwlane6.sys. A stop code alone does not select the adapter.

  • DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION / DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with rtwlane6.sys
  1. Connect a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter
  2. Install its driver
  3. Disable the built-in Realtek adapter in Device Manager
  4. Test normal use

Reported outcome: The author reported no crashes after the change.

Disable only the identified built-in adapter after the replacement connection works. Re-enable that same device to undo the workaround; do not remove unrelated network devices.
