Browser capabilities and limits
Motion uses OpenCV MOG2 background subtraction and connected-region filtering, with the same TMT/CNF meanings as Desktop. Standard motion uses up to 320 pixels wide; Detailed uses up to 960. The first eight samples train the background model and cannot produce motion events.
Sampling offers 1, 4 or 10 frames per second, capped at 20,000 samples per file. The report records the effective rate and any cap. Motion boxes show sampled detections, not continuous object tracking. Keep the tab open while inspecting.
Clock OCR requires a manually selected area for each source. Optional audio analysis depends on Web Audio decoding and is skipped above 250 MB or for recordings longer than 10 minutes. Read the report for skipped checks and effective settings.
Browser playback depends on both container and codec. Start with an MP4 export using H.264/AAC or a browser-playable WebM file. Keep the tab open while inspecting.
